Dear all,

   You are receiving this mail because you were invited to join the 
proposal we are preparing towards the 
DIGITAL-2021-CLOUD-AI-01-DS-MARKETPLACE-CLOUD

topic within the Digital Europe Programme.

   I provide here the information that would be required from you 
urgently.   It will not require that much work but we need to get it 
completed soon.  Failure to meet the defined deadlines may put your 
participation in quarantine since there are other partners who have 
recently answered positively to join the consortium and we are keeping 
them now in a queue until we find out how much room we will have with 
current list of partners. You may be put in quarantine giving those in 
the queue the opportunity to reply faster and get onboard, then making 
it difficult to accommodate your expectations.   Apologies for this but 
you know we are facing very tight deadlines so we have to be rigurous.

*  Administrative data (all partners)
*

  * An Ownership Control Declaration form every partner has to deliver
    as per requirements by the EC - this is a new requirement that has
    been added in calls associated to the Digital Europe Programme that
    we understand is being required mostly to assess what partners may
    be under control by a third country outside Europe or a legal
    organization from a country outside Europe.
      o Please find enclosed the form template
      o You should fill it and return it with name replacing in the file
        name "Partner-name" by the Acronym of your company
  * General and contact data - this is required to complete form A of
    the proposal in the EC portal through which the proposal is submitted
      o Info to be provided is in columns C-F and I-AD of tab "Basic
        partner info" of the attached spreadsheet.   Note that one
        contact person is enough
  * Deadline: tomorrow Wednesday EOB

*Budget data *(for all partners but legal firms for which we will come 
with a specific proposal in a separate mail):

  * Average personnel direct costs (i.e., without overhead) of a
    person*month:
      o Info to be provided in column G of tab ""Basic partner info" of
        the attached spreadsheet
      o Note that these are real direct costs, no overhead, no markup. 
        I assume you are enough familiar with EU funded projects so that
        you don't need further clarifications. Otherwise, let us know.
  * Assignment of person months per task:
      o Info to be provided in tab "Efforts and figures" of the attached
        spreadsheet
      o Note that data should be provided only in blank cells of the
        rows associated to each task
      o To help you understanding the different tasks and be able to
        allocate the PMs properly, I attach the description of WP3, WP4
        and WP5.  There are only two other WPs, but they are Project
        Management and another one is a WP on Ecosystem Building
        activities which cover marketing activities and activities for
        liaising with relevant stakeholders and projects: we will
        determine how much PMs we will require from each partner but
        won't be many resources, so you don't need to fill PMs in the
        tasks of both WPs.  Just focus on WP3, WP4 and WP5.
      o In general:
          + IaaS/Platform cloud providers which will mostly focus in
            integrating their service offering (including marketplaces
            they already have, or have to develop, and need to
            integrate/federate into the envisioned Cloud Marketplace:
            your efforts should be concentrated in task 3.6, 4.1 and
            4.2.  We will get back to you with a proposal about PMs to
            allocate in WP2 and WP5.
          + blockchain network providers and blockchain technology
            providers: focus your efforts in task 3.1, 3.2, 4.1 and 4.2
          + partners involved in certification: focus your efforts in 4.3
      o You may indicate travel costs (row 78), subcontracting (row 77)
        and other direct costs (rows 78-80) but subcontracting and other
        direct costs different than travels need to be justified
  * Deadline 1 - global figure of budget you are looking for: tomorrow
    at 15:00
  * Deadline 2 - detailed allocation of PMs in tasks: Thursday noon

*  Other data (all partners)

  * List of relevant projects you may have running or may have run
    during the last 4 years in connection to the topic:
      o Info to be provided in attached document
      o Such projects may not necessarily be EU funded or nationally
        funded, they can be internal research or can be commercial (and
        indeed these later ones are welcomed)
  * List of assets you may bring to the project:
      o Info to be provided in attached document
      o IaaS/Platform cloud providers: Info about cloud IaaS/platform
        services and marketplace services from your company you would
        like to federate to the envisioned Marketplace Service would be
        ideal.
      o blockchain network and blockchain technology providers: Info
        about blockchain network and technology assets
  * Deadline: Thursday noon

   As you see, very concrete and not that difficult contributions but 
short deadlines.
