[ff-all] Your vacation around Christmas

Dear colleagues,

Despite the actual soft-lockdown in Germany, the COVID-19 infection figures
are still growing and more and more people are dying with or due to
COVID-19 per day. A hard-lockdown is in discussion and several companies
have already decided to close down operations around Christmas requesting
their employees to take vacation.

As FIWARE Foundation we will not request you to take vacation but we
strongly recommend to do so. Take this as an opportunity to relax for a few
days together with your loved ones. 2020 has been very intense for all of
us.
Taking days off from December 19th to January 1st will be 7 vacation days,
starting on 24th means 4 days (we are counting Dec. 24th and Dec 31st as a
half day of vacation)

Several of you do have already requested or confirmed vacation during this
period according to our overview:

I do ask all of you who will have more than 8 days of vacation left at the
end of 2020 and who are not planning to take vacation to discuss this with
your boss as there might be reasons not allowing you to take vacation.

As explained already during the last all hands call vacation days from 2020
which are not taken until April 9th, 2021 (as an exception) will be
cancelled.
