We want to give a big thank you to all of you who were able to join us for
the FIWARE Ideas Sprint, which took place during the previous Marketing
Round-up Call. During the call, we divided the attendees into five groups,
each with its own question (from events and opportunities-related
questions, to how we can better help members to be more successful with
FIWARE and in their respective domains). The result? Valuable inputs from
the heart of our community. Know that we will be taking your feedback on
board and use it to identify the areas where we can step up our game to
help the FIWARE Community thrive to the best of its ability!

Great Opportunities for You
Calling all startups and SMEs to join the upcoming FIWARE Accelerators DAY
FIWARE Foundation, in collaboration with the FIWARE Accelerator Programme,
is coming up with a fantastic event on *29 April 2021* that will bring
together our wonderful Accelerator Partners: *BWCON* (Germany), *EIT
Digital Accelerator* (Belgium), *Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio* (Italy),
*WOBCOM* (Germany), and *Zabala* (Belgium, Spain). During the event, each
partner will showcase the business opportunities they can offer SMEs and
startups. This includes services, open calls, events with investors,
matchmaking, and more. In addition, FIWARE Foundation will present joint
strategies with the Accelerators Partners that are ready or in the making

Mindset Awards* acknowledge that technology is changing every business

What's up in the *#OpenCallSpotlight*? *Better Factory* is one of the
opportunities in our collection of open calls to which you can also respond
using FIWARE technology. The H2020-funded project helps manufacturers to
enter new markets with customizable and personalized products or service
portfolios. Thanks to partnerships with business and technology suppliers,
manufacturing SMEs and Mid-caps are exposed to new business models and will
be able to digitize their factories to match the production of new

Meet the members of the FIWARE Scientific Advisory Board (FISAB)
In March, the *FIWARE Scientific Advisory Board* (FISAB) officially
launched to provide support and advice to the FIWARE Foundation Board of
Directors. The objective of FISAB is to continuously explore technological
developments and innovations.

Heidelberg City Kompass - Citizens information service powered by FIWARE
The *Digital-Agentur Heidelberg *pursues the goal of developing
sustainable, intelligent, and digital urban development in the context of
its urban ecosystem, which consists of research, industry, small and
medium-sized businesses, and stakeholders in Heidelberg. Citizens are able
to access the most important information from the city via a web portal
corresponding to use cases from relevant fields of action, including the
environment, health, and mobility.

Join the first female-led #WednesdayWebinar this month on *March 24 from
10:00-11:00 (CET)*. During the webinar, *Sherifa Fayed* (Technical Expert
and Evangelist, FIWARE Foundation) and *Rihab Feki* (Machine Learning
Engineer and Evangelist, FIWARE Foundation) will not only demonstrate how
to collect data in real-time, transform it, and persist it using DRACO to
be ready for further use, but they will also show how to build an
end-to-end AI service with PySpark hosted in the cloud.
