dear colleagues, as several of you well know, in the fiware foundation we have in place for years an internal funded project review process with the aim of helping the projects in identifying strengths as well as weak points. as project review team (clara, karen and myself), in agreement with the boo, we are now evolving the process as we would like to pursue the following goals: - Monitor the progress and results of funded projects efficient and periodically - Detect issues timely so to apply mitigation measure and minimize the impact in the progress - Provide a shared overview of all funded projects to the whole FF team. The aim is to have an efficient knowledge share among the all of us. Indeed, the aim is to raise new project ideas, collaborations, lessons learnt, impact stories, etc. - Contribute to the team cohesion within each project and overall at FF level. to such an extent the process will have the following main changes: - the review meetings will be on the third monday of the month in the afternoon starting from 16 jan 2023 - the review meetings will address 5 / 6 projects every session with slots of 20 minutes for each project with a coffee break in the middle. if during the review a special topic is identified that require more in depth discussion a dedicated session for that project and topic will be set - in december we will issue a calendar covering the whole 2023. since we will have about 20 projects running in 2023, each project will have a review every three months or so. this way everybody can well plan his/her agenda in the due time - everybody in the fiware foundation is invited to attend the various review sessions. indeed, as explained above the main aim of the process is to cross-fertilize the work and the knowledge between the various project teams highlighting lessons learnt. to implement the points above, in the very next weeks we will come back to you with a review sessions calendar and a more detailed description of these new steps in internal project review. due to this the review session planned for tomorrow will be replanned. i do apologise for the colleagues in charge. ciao, stefano -- Stefano De Panfilis Chief Operating Officer stefano.depanfilis at fiware.org <charlotte.kotterman at fiware.org> www.fiware.org Mob: +393357542567 Skype: depa01 twitter: depa01 <https://twitter.com/fiware> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
