Dear all,

Today, we would like to share some updates with you regarding some of the
upcoming events (both digital and face-to-face).

Greencities*

FIWARE will participate as a Golden Partner in the Greencities
<https://greencities.fycma.com/?lang=en> Forum for Urban Intelligence and
Sustainability, from 30 September-1 October in Málaga, Spain.

Our participation includes:

   -

   -

Opportunity to bring international speakers at the S-Moving Forum
   -

Side event - FIWARE Lectures and Workshops: e.g. for Smart Water, "Open
Data Smart Data Models, Data Marketplaces, Smart Destinations, Blockchain,
   and Public Administrations.
   -

Community meetings: Working Groups and Mission Support Committees.

   us as a co-exhibitor <https://forms.gle/nN7YK9vRYhuqsjvD6>. The first 8

first-come-first-serve principle. We will come back to those that made a

   .

Hannover Messe

In the last Orga Committee Call, you asked what the status is with Hannover
Messe. At this point in time we can share the following information:

   -

Hannover Messe is picking up live events again, starting with China.
   Currently, they have confirmed:
LET in Guangzhou (27- 29 August)
   IAS in Shanghai (15-19 September)
PTC/CeMAT ASIA in Shanghai (3-6 November)
   CDIIF in Chengdu (18-20 November)
   -

For Germany and Europe, events remain digital for the moment. The Hannover
   Messe Digital Days
   <https://www.hannovermesse.digital/en/program_overview/> have just come
to an end. For FIWARE, the format-cost-relationship was not attractive this
time but we are signing up for the next F2F Hannover Messe in 2021. Your
FIWARE contact for this is Quy (quy.le at fiware.org).

Smart Country Convention 2020

FIWARE will attend to the virtual event <https://www.smartcountry.berlin/>
as a Sponsor and will bring some parts of the initially planned Summit
content to this virtual fair and convention. There will be selected
opportunities for the FIWARE community. The ideas and the program is
currently under discussion with SCCON and Bitkom.

FIWARE Global Summit

Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, we are redirecting the Summit and
transforming the event into FIWARE digital experiences, such as the new
series of FIWARE Domain Days, including the upcoming FIWARE Green Economy
DAY
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fiware-green-economy-day-tickets-112201020272>
(July 23) and FIWARE Tourism DAY
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fiware-tourism-day-tickets-112504407712>
(July 30). Then, in 2021 we will be back with a brand new live event.

FIWARE Global Summit 2021

We will be back with a F2F Summit in 2021. The location and the exact dates
are still under negotiation, however, we expect the next FIWARE Global
Summit to be around May 2021. Updates will follow shortly regarding this.

*As parts of the Greencities program are still under finalization, some
agenda points may be still subject to change.

Should you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best,
Charlotte
