[ff-marketing] Website handling: current topics // website revamp

Dear all,
(this is an info mail, no need to respond, in case there is questions, pls
take a note and bring them to the next Mktg Team Call),

One topic, for which we had no time today to give an update, is our
preparation work for creating the project "Website Revamp" and its kick-off
soon, currently getting prepared by Giacomo and me (preparation phase):


   - You all remember that it is *one of our Strategic Programmes *and is
   supposed to and will *kick off in July*.
   - We will start with a small series of *analysis and ideaing workshops*
   where we involve first a few people, then the Marketing Team and then a
   wider group including also the BoO as we progress BEFORE we go into
   realization.
   - The project mgmt, time planning and scoping is currently getting
   prepared by Giacomo and myself, once we are done, we will present this to
   the Marketing team.
   - The core team and sub-teams will subsequently be defined and will
   include also people from outside the Mktg Team.
   - The foreseen date for a new launch is thought to be Q1/2021


*What does this mean for the current fiware.org <http://fiware.org/>?*

   - This *website revamp* does not (or little) influence or interfere
   ongoing maintenance and legal work on the current page.
   E.g. as we need to install the new Cookies policy, this will surely
   happen on the current page but we learn already what this will mean for the
   new one.
   - *Current topics, also around Distropica, are followed up by Angeles*,
   running also the calls with Fernando, and Angeles and myself where
   Marketing is required. We then involve those who can help in specific
   topics.
   - The only "overlap" of new and old website topics are the new pages we
   have created for the Accelerator Programme and the iHubs. You may consider
   this a new page design & testing anyway. This is run by *Giacomo*.
   - *Plug-in for Events*: I've heard that there is lots of mails and chats
   going around. Please, let's work efficiently and as a team on this.
   *- Topic lead from Marketing (like before):* *Charlotte*, with support
   from *Giacomo*
   *- Alignment with Fernando/Distopica* and implementation plan (like
   project management): Angeles
   ==> Charlotte & Giacomo: please come back to me with the date I can see
   the new tool online
