[ff-marketing] Marketing INFO: CEF Grant FILES

Hi all,

This is a great day for FIWARE!
After the thrilling news currently going out to the market that Red Hat has
become our last new entry as a Platinum Member, we have received another
Acceptance for Funding!!!!


Our enquiry for another CEF Funded Project has just been confirmed by the
lead applicant City of Kiel as they have been notified by INEA that the
application had been successful. Great news!

The proposal was selected for funding of 1,711,284 euros.

Venturenomix was engaged to support during the application process so at
this point it may be feasible that Olaf-Gerd Gemein will support Kiel in
arranging further consortium information exchange and meetings.
At the same time, we are more than happy that we have been holding great
relationships with the City of Kiel, also coming from a our participation
last year's KIEL DIGITALE WOCHE (Tonia as speaker, myself as keynote
speaker and panelists, our Smart World by FIWARE exhibition for 10 days
etc.).
We were also guests at the dinner table with Kiel's CDO together with OASC,
and had the chance to engage with the Major of Kiel as well.
