Dear all,

For all who want to learn more about the famous Architecture Coherence :-)

Enjoy reading it.

Not sure yet if / how we will communicate about it, we'll define this over
the next days.

Cheers,
Cristina

Hi all,

I'm glad to share that today we have published version 2.0 of the DSBA
Technical Convergence discussion document.

It is a major step compared to the previous version ... and NGSI-LD
together with smart data modesl is clearly positioned as API for data
exchange :-)

Also the conceptual model is based on the proposal I made. The DSSC
conceptual model should leverage this work ;-)

Besides, we solved how to incorporate the concept of Data Space
Connector, this way helping to make IDSA feel more protagonist of the
results. But interestingly, bringing a vision that brings us in a good
position towards delivering a DSBA-compliant FIWARE Data Space Connector.

There are still elements to be fine-tuned but the delta compared to
previous version is major. It has been a major effort in the last weeks
with lots of hours spent (the reason it could not be earlier as we had
wished).

The document can be downloaded using the link that Sebastian shared in
his mail but also clicking on the image of the document in the web page
devoted to Technical Convergence
<https://data-spaces-business-alliance.eu/dsba-releases-technical-convergence-discussion-document/>
on the DSBA website. However, there are a couple of things IDSA has to
solve (they are the maintainers of that web page):

   - date for the post (to highlight that the document has been updated)
   - image of front matter of the document (should be replaced because
current image corresponds to version 1.0.1 of the document

Dear all,

Let me inform you about the new version of the Architecture Coherence
Paper. During this week we finalized the version 2 of the Architecture
Coherence Paper and included the changes that we discussed recently. The
document in general is more modular and we included some general statements
to the document.

Section 2 is new and contains the “Common vision on Data Spaces” of the
DSBA organizations. We agreed on a common architecture perspective that is
tied to the OpenDEI Building Blocks and which is under continuous alignment
with the DSSC. This section also includes clear statements, what the
contribution of the four organizations to the common architecture is.

The new sections 3, 4 and 5 cover the three pillars of the OpenDEI Building
Blocks, Data Interoperability, Trust and Data Value Creation.

I think that the version really adds clarity.
