[ff-marketing] Finally back with mainland under my feet

Dear all,

After pretty difficult boat days, we finally made it back. Very unusual for
this time of the year, that the weather made it impossible to leave due to
thunderstorms and high waves. We finally stranded in the Northern part of
Corsica, 6 days longer than planned without being able to get back to the
main mainland.

I've informed the BoO with some more details that I am sharing with you:
I wanted to let you know that we made it back home at 3 am this morning.
After no way to leave the North of Corsica since Friday last week and
Monday&Tuesday fully impossible, we tried on Wednesday and had to return
after the port authority also advised us not to do transfers while we still
saw waves of 3 meters. Yesterday morning we left with 4 boats together for
safety reasons and all of us had to return again as it was impossible to
navigate although we all had rather biggers and heavier boats, that time
the port had not even any space for us any more even not for temporary
stops as the region was full of 'parked' boats unable to move, and we had
to wait in low waters for the only better time window to leave in this
week, which was in the afternoon, still half way very difficult, the
second part went fine. Thank God I also have the boat and sailing license.
Not to make it any easier, on Tuesday, my computer got a heat shock and I
had to search repair help as of not loading any longer, and Italian
highways closed for night works and we had to stand in traffic until this
morning at 1:30 just ahead of Genova and use small roads to finally get
back to Milan.
I therefore also missed my Dad's 83rd birthday yesterday.

I am catching up now, so allow some time for responses or overlap of
answers .

Many thanks,

Cristina
