*Good morning to a splendid Marketing Team, and the overall Summit team together with **Andrea and Karen,* With the closing of FIWARE Tech Training last night, the FIWARE Global Summit has officially closed its doors, and - *WE MADE IT!* What an awesome team we have who made this possible with everybody working on the forefront or from the back or from all sides. It was not an easy Summit (like every Summit each has its particularities), this time starting officially on a Monday put a lot of extra challenges and stress on all of us, but a great planning made it overcome almost all, and the 'rest' was solved at location and always in time. The most important thermometer is the guest's feedback, and so far, it is excellent. Each of you had many specific jobs and we all worked super hand-in-hand, even though we had unplanned two colleagues less at location (sorry, Tonia and Karen). Not even to forget, next to the Summit was the AWS Exec meeting, the GA, the BoD, the Dinner in Schreiberhaus, workshops and the German-speaking get-together.... so many more 'events in the event', and other side meetings and dinners. If our Gaia-X colleagues had done the job they had promised and led, especially to open doors to East Europe, I am sure we would have gotten over 500 guests, but we kept our promise to achieve at least 400, and we even achieved a top-quality level of guests. The Tech Training was sold out. I cannot thank you more for all your great work, power, excellency, persistence, openness and friendliness to our community, the engagement you have shown, top-nodge design, programs and signage, we made all the difficult food, drinks and bus logistics 'accident-free' and we brought also this time new elements like two EC Closing conferences combines, Evangelist onboarding or Matchmaking. We had 160+ speakers, 5 new iHubs, 2 Strategic Partnerships, a significant and greatly designed Wall of Fame, lots of Sponsors and Media Partners, we delivered brand new publications like the new Smart Cities Book ed. 5 and the White Paper for Data Spaces in collaboration with Smart Cities World (who were also at the Summit!)... and so much more. We will now work on after-event Coms, a great Summit movie and feeding our new YouTube channel - and surely locking the next Summit location. Today, it's also a bit of a slow down day, if we remember what that was :-).
