Dear all, The BoD has decided on a changed / additional clause to the Fee Code currently found here https://www.fiware.org/foundation/members/membership-fees/ (before next changes). The decision has been taken, very shortly you will also find it in our diverse online and contractual channels. This means, members cannot anymore step out of FIWARE membership from one month to the next. We are changing the regulations for membership terminations into this here: - Membership of the Association ends through resignation (cancellation), expulsion, dissolution or insolvency of the Member. - Members are free to resign from the Foundation by giving written notice via a registered letter, with reference to timely acknowledgement of receipt at the attention of the FIWARE Headquarters or by e-mail to the address communicated to the Members for such purposes. The resignation should be sent *at the latest (4) months before the end of the current financial year and shall be effective as from the financial year following the financial year in which the Member sent its resignation.* - Resigning Members shall have no rights to the Foundation's assets nor to the reimbursement of any membership fees. - The resigning Members shall remain liable for their obligations towards the Association, including the payment of the membership fees, up to the end of the financial year in which the relevant Member gave notice of its resignation. This is important for you should you get involved in potential member or partner talks.
