Dear all, Friday is News Day - and we had already quite some! But the day is not finished yet: - The interview for a potential new member of the* 'LEGO team' *went very well. With some admin to work on still next week, we should be good to go to move from Lucca to Luka. However, as long the ink is not dry.... - *PrepDSpace4Mobility * Please read this very nice appreciation mail together with some next steps for those of you interested. Your commitment and hard work, flexibility, and ability to rethink and improvise, have shown that we were able to navigate this very challenging and uncertain area of data space technology and governance for the mobility and logistics sectors. This concerns all areas of work – from engaging diverse stakeholders, navigating requests, intensive research and analysis, advice and reviewing contributions, dealing with administrative complexity, finding the right tone and polishing messaging and communication, and much more. It's really nice to see in retrospect how we have been able to push some boundaries, especially over the summer! I was particularly happy to hear the nice words from the EC today in the final webinar and to see that they value the work done (recording will be shared). Although we do not have authorisation to publish the final deliverable D3.1 yet, we are almost there and hopeful to straighten out the remaining open questions with the EC asap. We will submit a version in the EC’s participant portal today so that we are compliant with the deadline in the grant agreement but *expect some last comments that we need to address over the coming days/weeks*. Further details will be shared in a meeting to be set up with the WP and task leads. Another meeting with the whole consortium will allow us to conduct a *retrospective* with all partners and discuss outstanding *reporting and admin to dos*. Once we have coordinated a date/time, we will let everyone know. Looking ahead, we're excited to embark on the next phase of our journey: 1. Starting the 36-month DIGITAL funded *EMDS deployment project* on 1 November and holding our kick-off meeting at Tomorrow Mobility on 7 November in Barcelona – you are welcome to join us! 2. Further detailing scope and activities with Member States and the EC on a possible role of the *Mobility and Logistics Data* *EDIC* within the broader EMDS initiative, accelerating cross-border use cases and solving specific interoperability challenges. Let's continue to work together and stay in touch – it’s just the beginning! 😊 All the best and good luck to us for the final touches on the deliverables, Lucie PS: I sincerely hope I haven’t forgotten anyone – if so, apologies and please forward the message!
