This e-mail is to inform you that today we have received the invitation from the Commission to register our costs of the second period of FI-CORE project on NEF (FORM-C-2). (See e-mail below)
If we are homogeneous declaring our data on NEF, we’ll avoid remarks from the Commission and delays in the next payment.
So, this e-mail tries to help us about how to claim our costs for the FI-Core project on NEF. (in the same way that the first period)
So, I kindly ask you to check these 4 following points:

The Financial Officer especially asked us to provide date, place and purpose in case of travel costs (for the major costs (above the 15%)).
3.- Personnel Costs:
In order to avoid remarks from the Commission and delays in the next payment, we kindly ask you to follow this example about how to fill the “Explanation” and “Free Text” cells of NEF:
It is very important to show how many people and how many PM per WP are related to the declared costs.

As a coordinator, you can access NEF via the EC Research Participant Portal.
Note that your organisation must be registered in URF and have a PIC (Participant Identification Code) in order to access NEF.
You will find the instructions for the other participants in the ANNEX 1, at the end of this email, on how to access the cost claims. As a coordinator, you are invited to share these instructions with them.
Access to the Cost claim Session via the Participant Portal
The Participant Portal hosts services that facilitate the monitoring and the management of your projects.
It is also a secure Internet site that ensures adequate authentication and confidentiality mechanisms, based on the European Commission Authentication Service (ECAS).
