[Ficore-administrative] Grant Agreement No. 632893 FI-Core. Financial assessment for reporting period P2 from 01/10/2015 to 31/12/2016. FINAL PAYMENT

Dear all,

Regarding FI-CORE project, we are glad to inform that we have received the final financial assessments from the European Commission.
They have been processed in conformity with the provisions of the grant agreement, in particular its Articles II.5, II.6 and II.18.
The results of the analysis of the financial statements are detailed in the attached forms:

·         1733418.pdf - SUMMARY FINANCIAL REPORT - PAYMENT CALCULATION

·         1733416.pdf - PARTICIPANT FINANCE SHEETS

·         1733419.pdf - PROJECT OVERVIEW CONSOLIDATED

Please note that according to Article II.5.8 of the grant agreement, the consortium may give reasons for any disagreement with the outcome of the Commission's assessment within two months from the date of receipt of this message (received on Wednesday, November 29, 2017). If we do not submit a written request within this period, the consortium is deemed to have accepted the Commission's decision.
So, please check the attached documents and if you don’t agree with the outcome of the Commission's assessment, please send an e-mail to the coordinator miguel.carrillopacheco at telefonica.com<mailto:miguel.carrillopacheco at telefonica.com> with copy to eu_research.tid at telefonica.com<mailto:eu_research.tid at telefonica.com> by December 15th, 2017.

Besides, the EC has told us that the final payment will be transferred to the coordinator’s bank account.
According previous payments, please find attached two more documents:

·         FI-CORE - Final Payment.pdf – IBAN & Amount of the final payment per beneficiary after making balance between total accepted funding and total received payments.

·         FI-CORE - Payments Details.pdf – Details of all the payments to the consortium

The following table shows a summary:

Partners with negative amounts (in red) have to reimburse to the coordinator the extra received amount. I’ll send another particularised e-mail to them.

After receiving the final payment from the Commission, we´ll start the payment process using the IBAN of previous payment (see FI-CORE - Final Payment.pdf)

Finally, the EC wish to draw our attention to the following:
-According to Article II.22 of the grant agreement, the Commission may, at any time during the implementation of the project and up to five years after the end of the project, arrange for financial audits to be carried out, by external auditors, or by the Commission services themselves including OLAF.
-According to Article II.23 of the grant agreement, the Commission may initiate a technical audit or review at any time during the implementation of the project and up to five years after the end of the project.
