In the "Cloud" section, I can create an instance, associated with an OS and an IP, then access it. Once accessed, I can install whatever I want (php/mysql for instance) and upload the files I need to test my application.
In the future, I want to use Application Mashup to deploy easily a web-app.
So I can go to the "Mashup" section, create a widget (which is linked to my php/mysql application), and create my web-app from here.
Do you think it is the right way to understand FIWARE lab?
In the "Cloud" section, is there already a template that I could use where php/mysql is installed?

The straightforward way of testing the technology is logging on FIWARE Lab and using the self deployment facilities because:

Nothing precludes local installations on the local machines of the person testing this but it is more cumbersome. All our software is open source (just on exception in Security that we intend to replace soon)

In FIWARE we know nothing of the SEs, we have not developed them, most of us do not even know what Use Cases created which ones. I am unable to talk of the work of others. Our part is the core platform, that is to say, the GEs.
You need to go to the Use Cases, they are open until December, this is the good side of it :)
If you want to be completely precise, the right branding is FIWARE Lab (not Labs). Same teams, those who know of FIWARE know of FIWARE Lab.
