Hi there,

Would you please help me to find the relevant and appropriate accelerator
call from all on http://www.fiware.org/accelerators/? At first glans it
seems that the product we are working on doesn't fit in any of them. By
other hand our technology stack is quite deep and could be applied in every
single one of them where data management is involved.

Here is short description to help in your assessment:

Persinity No-Downtime product enables uninterrupted applications
upgrade/migration in diverse set of scenarios. The product equips service
providers with risk and business impact free ability to adopt latest
software updates. It also enables software developers to push considered in
the past breaking changes in their software with no hesitation and achieve
shorter time to market gaining competitive advantage over the competitors.

Below are listed the most common upgrade/migration paths:

*Downtime specific use cases*

   - Upgrade DB schema to new version triggered by the introduction of new
   application version.
   - Change in business requirements: e.g. initially picked Oracle, switch
to vPostgres – similar functionality, different price. Change DB
type/vendor is required. SQL to No-SQL migrations are also supported.
   - Change Host
   - Private Cloud: Upgrade HW
      - Hybrid Cloud: Migrate from/to Private Cloud
      - Public Cloud: Change provider (involves long distance motion)
   - Upgrade DB server to newer version: Met by expensive clusters, e.g.
Oracle RAC (50K easily, 500K etc.)
   - Fault Tolerance - Met by expensive clusters, e.g. Oracle RAC (50K
   easily)

If on the lower upgrade/migration/fault tolerance level you might find
solution among the product in the high end portfolio of Oracle or HP,
Persinity enjoys blue ocean at the application level uninterrupted upgrade
and migration market.

*Non-downtime specific use cases based on the technology **developed*

   - Highly scalable computing:
   - distributed computing
      - data processing
      - streams processing
      - Resilient Data Transport
   - Fault tolerance
      - Disaster recovery
      - Replication
      - Backup
      - Snapshot management
   - Multi-source one way intelligent data transformation
      - Reporting
      - Business Intelligence

Thank you in advance for your attention and support,
