Dear all,
This e-mail is to inform you that yesterday we received more remarks from the EC. They are the following:

Beneficiary 4 IRG :

·         Please note that I am checking with the clarification and I do not find a clear message from the auditors certified the total eligible costs for period 1-2-3 ?

The Form C attached in the CFS does not have a stamp from the auditors therefore we need to receive a confirmation by e-mail from the auditors is sufficient.

·         Please note that in the CFS of period 2, only the Form C of the adjustment of RP1 is attached not the Form C of period 2 (342.383 € total costs).

·         Anyway we need to have a clear declaration on the eligible costs by the auditors for Period 1, Period 2 and Period 3 (+ adjustments).


Beneficiary 12 – Third Party TCHR :

·         Please note that CFS original was received but no CFS was uploaded in NEF which in case the NEF session is sent it back to you.

·         In the CFS the auditors did not mention the amount of total eligible costs, therefore we would like to have an e-mail from the auditors confirm the total amount of eligible costs.

Several beneficiaries (pending to know the list):

·         Regarding the question of the adjustments, as long as the total accepted costs by the EC is equal or lower than the amount declared as eligible costs in the CFS, there is no problem.

Could you please provide a statement from the beneficiaries in case they do not want to request the adjustment ?

Please specify clearly in the use of resources the amount of resubmission in Period 3 for Period 1 and Period 2 :

Note: The list of the involved beneficiaries in this last remark will be provided by the EC on Monday. We have asked the EC to specify the list of beneficiaries and their amounts.
As soon as I have received it, I’ll send it to you.

As you know, the final payment is suspended until the Commission receive all the clarifications.

Dear all,
The EC sent us the second “stop the clock” e-mail on January 19th, 2016, with 4 more pending clarifications.
Unfortunately this e-mail has not been attended so far today. (I cannot understand why, but it seems that something went wrong in the e-mail and I didn’t receive it. I have noticed about them today after the question of the P.O. about those remarks (after receiving my e-mail with the missing signed documentation.))
So, these are 4 pending remarks. The EC asked the following:

Could you please provide some clarifications from the beneficiaries?

05 – THALES

·         Please note that due to the revision of deliverables for the reporting RP1, an amount of 7.419 € could be accepted for THIRD PARTY TAS (Thales Alenia Space France).
In case the Third party wants to resubmit this amount, we need to re-open NEF in order for them to claim those costs in the Form C (no need for update CFS).

11-DEUTCHE TELEKOM

·         For partner 11 for Reporting period 2 the indirect costs for activity "Other" is negative. Indeed they have made an adjustment of -7 € when no costs have been claimed under this category in indirect cost before??

19 – INTEL

·         For partner 19 for Reporting period 1 the other direct costs for activity "Research & Technological development/Innovation is negative. Indeed they have charges 6.092 in P1, Adjusted in P2 -.2838 € and Adjusted in P3 3.808 € total -554 €?

·         Due to the revision of the deliverables for RP1, an amount of 18.734 € could be accepted but need therefore to be claimed in the Form C. There is also an amount of 54 € for RP 2 which could be resubmitted.

Could you please attend urgently these last remarks of the Commission?

Dear all
I’m glad to inform you that we have sent the complete set of duly signed documentation of the third period of FI-WARE Project to the Commission.
We’ll keep you informed as soon as we have received news about the final payment process.
As far as I know, the next steps would be:
1.- The EC has to evaluate the provided documentation.
2.- If there is no remarks, EC will send the Financial Statement with the accepted and rejected costs.
3.- The EC will pay the Final Payment to the Coordinator.
4.- The Coordinator will distribute this Final Payment, based on the Financial Assessment of the third period and the previous payments.
