[Fiware-apps] Summary of forge and mailing list - Please read and keep for future reference

  Hi All,

A quick summary of current status of the forge and mailing lists.
Please read this email and keep it for your records.

*** FORGE ***
A new project called *FIWARE Apps *has been created by the central 
coordination. This corresponds to the current Apps chapter.
https://forge.fi-ware.org/projects/fiwareapps/

The old Apps chapter (called FI-WARE Apps, note the hyphen) still exists 
on the forge, but it refers to the old WP with old partners.
https://forge.fi-ware.org/projects/apps/

Given that a hyphen is a very small symbol ;-) please be careful when 
adding content to the forge. You should not upload content in the old 
FI-WARE Apps because this would be visible to old partners (and not the 
right place, anyway).

As you might have noticed, I added those of you who had not joined the 
new FIWARE Apps project on the forge. As fas as I know, we are all 
there. Please let me know if not.


*** MAILING LISTS ***
The new mailing list for FIWARE Apps is *fiware-apps at lists.fi-ware.org*
I think we are all there (actually I am sending on this list, so please 
do let me know if any of your colleague does not receive my emails).

The old one still exists but includes all old partners. So I think you 
are not likely to use it.


*** Things to do for a new member ***
In case a new member joins (e.g., a developer) he/she would need to:
- join FIWARE Apps on the forge

- join the new Apps mailing list 
https://lists.fi-ware.org/listinfo/fiware-apps
- join the new FIWARE malining list 
https://lists.fi-ware.org/listinfo/fiware


I should receive instructions about where to create a new wiki page 
shortly (and produce the Technical Roadmap, by the way).
