Hi Davide, Perhaps I am wrong and it is only a misunderstanding, but I can not understand your plan for the Live Demo as it is described in the time plan you have shared with us and I think that it is better to clarify it now (at the risk of being too rough, I have to say). After reading it, I have the feeling (it is explicitly said in your plan) that you do not intend to create from the 1st stage a "real" demo that integrates the use of ours GEs but a "separate" demo focused on your own GE, despite demonstrating the integrated use of different GEs is the main objective of these demos. Are you aware that all the features described for the scenario in the deliverable are posponed until Stage 3 (i.e. the last month of the project). What are we supposed to show before that? What am I supposed to plan for the first stages? Then, it is not a question of adding our own planning but, instead, a question of thinking what can we do with Finesce on our side alone, "without any connection with your GE" (excerpt from your own text when read from our perspective). What do you think we can do with an existing demo we do not know (we have never seen its code, we have never seen it running before, nobody has made a demo for us, we are aware that the current data has to be anonymized)? And, again, bearing in mind that all the features described for the scenario in the deliverable are posponed until Stage 3 (i.e. the last month of the project), what are we supposed to show before that? what am I supposed to plan for the first stages? Being that your plan, the only thing we can do is wait until Stage 3 (the last month of the project!!!) to have a real integrated demo and focus on the rest of demos for the first stages. But, do you really intend to show SpagoBI alone (in the context of the apps chapter, the only chapter involved in the demo) in the demo until the very last minute? IMHO what we have to do is to prioritize the integrated use of the GEs, i.e. moving the content of Stage 3 to Stage 1. We can try to create a time plan jointly with you, but this will require a couple of coordination meeting (can it be tomorrow at 9:30 with me and this Friday at 9:30 with the rest of my team?), but in the meantime, and bearing in mind the way of thinking that you have provoked on me saying that you do not intend to integrate our GEs until the last stage of the demo (for the last month of the project!!!), we need an explicit commitment from your side, without which we can not agree on participating in this demo: *- You (Engineering) agree on moving the content of Stage 3 to Stage 1 so that we can be sure that we will be part of the demo from the very beginning (it makes no sense to think about demos inside the demo). This implies that you will work from the very beginning on the creation of new premium datasets from the existing datasets (so that we can create and operate new data APIs and their related offerings from those premium datasets), and on that you will work (probably starting on stage 2) on performing analytics on the data we will provide about the use of APIs being offered through the store (accounting, payments-per-use, revenue sharings, etc. regarding the use of those premium data APIs).* (Please do not misinterpret the following bullets, they do not intend to sow suspicion, but to anticipate possible problems that could eventually arise as a consequence of a current lack of awareness) - You (Engineering) agree on granting us access to the source code and all the related documentation available for the demo on top of which you have described the scenario for the Business demo. You also agree on granting us access to a working installation of that demo, with full privileges. - You (Engineering) agree on sharing with us all the videos available that can help us to understand the current demo, and a couple of demo sessions to show us the demo and to explain the necessary details to allow us to know where is the information, which datasets are available, implemented functionality, etc. - You (Engineering) agree on granting us access to the current datasets available in the demo, and agree on releasing on time (i.e. during the 1st stage) all the "anonymizing" code necessary for those datasets that require such anonymization (this can be considered as a subtask of the generation of premium datasets). Otherwise we could not use that data, nor have access to any data indeed. And, last but not least, we also have to discuss an additional point: during the kickoff meeting we agreed on the need to integrate Wirecloud with SpagoBI so that we could use Wirecloud as a tool to create web dashboards from SpagoBI visualizations (and then ease their publication in external web portals, etc.). This feature is very interesting for the demo and it is my intention to plan it, but afaik you still have not created any epic/feature in this regard. What are you planning in this regard?
