Dear community members, In the past few months, we’ve been asking each one of you about how we can further drive engagement between our members and we look forward to taking your ideas on board. To that end, we’re thrilled to announce our latest community-driven engagement initiative *Unite We Thrive*. This crisp and brief video series aims to highlight FIWARE users who apply the power of open source and collaboration to everything they do. Through inspiring "live" interviews on AirMeet, we will showcase individuals that are jointly creating practical solutions and services that are making an impact towards a greener, sustainable and cost-effective planet and would not have been conceived if it wasn't for the FIWARE ecosystem. Are you currently working on solutions and/or initiatives that have happened as part of joining the FIWARE Community? Then, please get in touch with Val De Oliveira <valdirene.deoliveira at fiware.org> and Max Kleinsorg <http://max.kleinsorg@fiware.org> and tell us (in 150 words or less) the following: - Which member(s) of the FIWARE Community are you working with? Please provide us with his/her details. - How did the collaboration come about? - What have been the results so far? All entries will be looked at and contributors will be contacted in the due course. However, in the case of a high volume of entries, *only the first 12 contributions will be considered for the pilot phase (April/May)*. - The series will be a platform for FIWARE members and partners to showcase their collaborative work. The focus will be on collaboration across a wide variety of solutions, projects, and domains: we want to strike a fair balance between them. - The interview aims to include a diverse mix of tech professionals and industry thought leaders with the goal of obtaining a better understanding of the day-to-day challenges they face and staying up-to-date on the trends that will shape the open tech scene, the smart digital movement in the years ahead. We look forward to hearing from you.
