Here's another communication, this time from FIWARE Lab Team.

Dear FIWARE Lab users,

As part of our ongoing effort to improve our service, we have implemented a tool that continuously check the functionality of the different FIWARE Lab regions in order to have an accurate picture of their status. This tool will be used by the FIWARE Lab infrastructure owners in order to have a quick snapshot about the problems that the FIWARE Lab users can experience when they try to use their regions.

Based on the developed tool, we have also developed a dashboard that users can check every day to find out what nodes are stable and therefore safe to use without experiencing problems.  You can find it at: http://fi-health.lab.fi-ware.org<http://fi-health.lab.fi-ware.org/>

The dashboard displays in green those nodes who have actually passed all the tests.  You can click on the name of a given node to find out the detailed results of the executed tests.  If you arrive to the page showing results of the test performed in a given node and leave the mouse cursor in a given test, a tip will be shown describing the meaning of the test.   This may provide too much technical detail, but we intend to provide as much info as possible so that experienced users can get an accurate picture.

Please, keep in mind that this tool is still under evolution.   New functions will be soon implemented in order to include more automatic tests and allow the possibility to add subscription to specific regions in order to know when they pass all their tests. In the same way, an authentication and authorization process will be developed, integrated with the FIWARE Identity Manager, in order to give the ability to launch tests by FIWARE Lab region administrators.
