Hello Filip, Up to now Object Storage GE implementation is still having some problems in the various FIWARE Lab nodes and indeed I’m investigating about it in these days. Regarding SoftLayer please, do not misinterpret my words: I said that SoftLayer’s Object Storage service is compatible in terms of API, I didn’t say that SoftLayer’s Object Storage service complies with FIWARE. Is Object Storage the only enabler you are using in your project? As I reported to you month ago the attempt to create a container in FiLab Object Storage was returning error. Later, Daniele Santoro was solving it with GE second level support and on May 26th responded it should be fixed. I tried again and got another (different) error. I wrote back to Daniele but got no response yet. I tried primarily on "Prague" region (as it's the nearest node to us) but tested also in half dozen of other nodes/regions. If not all, which regions do support and have working instance of Object Storage? Regarding to SoftLayer's storage, yes, it is based on OpenStack Swift (aka Object Storage). So if I understand your answer correctly, by using it we comply with FiWare requirements on using FiWare enablers. Please let me know if I'm wrong on it. I can ask them to see if they have a specific problem with Object Storage GE or maybe just a time estimation. Regarding SoftLayer: I have no knowledge about its Object Storage service; despite this, I just checked on the website<http://sldn.softlayer.com/article/Introduction-Object-Storage> and, since it’s based on Swift (OpenStack Object Storage API), it should be compatible. BTW as you can see the status of all Labs, most of them is down (see the screenshot attached). [Inline image 2] Our teams have found out SoftLayer provides Object Storage too (http://www.softlayer.com/object-storage) - does it comply with FIWARE requirements to migrate to SoftLayer?
