Sí, pero con algunos hay que tener cuidado, porque si las bases no lo especifican, pueden argumentar que sea una cacicada. Aquí no rige el sentido común (este chico es excepcionalmente sensato) sino lo formalmente establecido.

Si no está en las bases, podemos tener un problema. Hay quien te monta un lío formal en tres segundos ... tendríais que ver a alguno que yo me sé en acción.

Yes, thinking some more about it, it would reflect badly on the partner, the consortium, and on the EC.

I actually got a bit blocked when I read this. I basically go along with you. I am not familiar with the rules of the competition (and I definitely have not the time to read them now) but in any case it does not seem particularly wise to consider it. There will be a lot of questioning even from the EC if they win, yes.  It is plain common sense.

I CC the dedicated mailing list in case they have more info. They are in fact the team in charge.

Even if there are no formal restrictions on consortium members, I will recommend that they do not enter…if they won (fairly) obviously it would still raise questions.
