If you could just check the first part on license issues, it would help a lot. Philipp already checked it. But we would like your opinion as it concerns the Consortium Agreement.

Hello Juanjo and Philipp,
Following the conf call of last week regarding issues with the Privacy GE architecture and license,  we compiled the small (3 ½ pages) document attached, summarizing and clarifying these issues, with possible solutions that we came up with so far. I hope you can take the time to check it so that we can take a final decision at the next Architecture's meeting on Monday, or by mail if this is perfectly clear to you by reading the doc.

In short, for the first issue - Licensing - we suggest 3 solutions (mutually exclusive) with a preference for the first one. If not acceptable to you, then we go for the second, then again, if not acceptable, the 3rd one.
For the second issue - Installation requirements on the end-user's PC (Usability) - we propose only one solution, that still complies with the privacy requirements we want/claim to satisfy with this GE, and that is feasible with the resources (PMs) left.

Hi Juanjo,

I'm a bit surprised since we are supposed to have today our audio conference to discuss the Privacy GE issue and progress made (and indeed there have been progress). So I would recommend to maintain that discussion in order to assess progress and make decision on way forward. Even more I did Cyril and Stephan to attend/report at this audio.

Awaiting form your confirmation that our discussion would be maintained starting at 11:00.

Hi all,

  I haven't seen too much progress regarding the several architectural discussions we are supposed to be running in parallel, so that I initially thought on cancelling our meeting.

  However, I believe it would be actually worth celebrating it so that Jose Manuel Cantera, currently appointed to define a plan for introducing best practices in our open source developments, could introduce the recommendations we plan to propose and collect your feedback.

  This would be from 11:00 to 12:30.

  Could you please confirm whether you would be able to make it?  (at least Philipp, Alex, Sergio, Carlos, Thomas, Javier, Cyril, Davide)   Chapter leaders are of course welcome.   It doesn't make sense to run it if there is no enough quorum.
