[Fiware-chapter-architects] Migration of mailing lists

Hi Miguel,

Would this affect the public mailing lists? i.e. the ones such as FIWARE-lab-help, coaching mailing lists, etc.?

If it is the case, it might be a good idea to postpone it for a while, in order to wait for the ongoing Fiware Lab and Community account changes to stabilize a bit. A number of users are sending emails to these lists these days, they may get frustrated if they also get bounces from the old mail addresses they used to use. My two cents ☺

Dear all,

We are ready to migrate all the mailing lists from the old fi-ware.org domain to fiware.org.  This will be done sometime next week unless someone has a good argument to postpone it. Off the top of my head I cannot think of specific risks for the coming week nor do not see any particularly critical event:  http://www.fiware.org/events/

If no one objects, I will announce this on friday to all the consortium, providing the concrete date & time.
