[Fiware-cloud] Fw: [FICORE-FIOPS] - The next developments in FIDEPLOY

We need to coalesce around a version of OpenStack for this year, so that
other groups, e.g. FIDEPLOY (see below) can prepare suitable support. Does
anybody object to targeting our code to be compatible with OpenStack's
Kilo release by August?

Best Regards,

Dear Kenneth,

as FIOPS chapter leader I am interested to understand a few important
points about the version of OpenStack that we will use in the next future.

Currently, in FIDEPLOY we are developing on IceHouse. Some weeks ago,
speaking with Alex about the integration of 2 components in FIDEPLOY (on
Nova and Swift). He was interested to start with a new development based
on Fuel 6.x.
In this moment, there are two development branches in Fuel: the first one
is based on Juno and second one on Kilo.

So, I think that we should be agreed on a reference release of OpenStack.

Just another question. Do you have any experience about Ironic? Most
probably could be interesting use it in the project.

Sincerely,
Alessandro
