[Fiware-cloud] upcoming elections

Dear partners,

As you might already know, FIWARE is transitioning into an open source 
community. As part of this transition, there will be soon elections within 
the chapter for the roles of 2 representatives of each chapter in the 
community-wide Technical Committee. There will be also elections for 
'individual' seats in the TC (besides those representing individual 
chapters). People who are eligible to vote are the Chapter Active 
Contributors (CACs). The way CACs are going to be determined is by having 
a small group of chapter members who would moderate (accept/reject) 
nominations by people who consider themselves contributors (there will be 
a mailing list for all such nominations, from all over the project and 
beyond). This group should include up to 2 people per GE. However, instead 
of having 18 (!) people from the Cloud chapter in the committee (we have 9 
GEs), I suggest that we nominate 1-2 people per partner. I am sure that it 
will be enough to recognize and accept all the other contributors, and to 
include them in the 'census' of CACs (exempting all the other people from 
the need to receive all those nomination emails).
I suggest the following list of people for this committee:
- Kenneth
- Fernando
- Alvaro

Kenneth, Fernando, Alvaro -- please, let me know by tomorrow EOB whether 
you agree to be on this committee, and whether you want additional people 
from TID/UPM subscribed.
