Dear all,

  This weekend we will announce a first list of coaches assigned to FIWARE Accelerator projects.   We have created the fiware-coaches mailing list to ease communication among the coaches and also requests that may common to all of them to be formulated by FIWARE accelerators or the EC.

  The following table summarizes the members of the fiware-coaches list for your info.   You are member of this list because either your name was provided as one of those coaches by the person in charge within your organization (then you appear with the role "coach") or because you were the first primary contact of an organization that had committed to provide the name of a coach and this hasn't done it yet (then you appear with the role "contact").    ATOS, Engineering and Telefónica have an important role in this coaching activity due to the fact that each of us provide three coaches or more, therefore also Nuria de Lama, Stefano de Panfilis and myself are also members of the list.

* IMDEA Software will work here as a Third Party of Telefónica.   Leandro has worked for Telefónica in the last year very intensively involved in FIWARE activities so we thought it was a great idea to involve him for this activity from IMDEA Software, given the fact that IMDEA Software is the organization in charge of the Spanish EIT ICT Labs node recently created.

  Bear in mind that coaches are expected to devote 40-50% of their time for coaching of one FIWARE Accelerator project.   Don't believe this will be a task that it will take just 20% of your time as average or maybe a bit more but only from time to time.   If what I have just stated doesn't make sense to you it is then because the person that gave your name within your organization didn't understand or communicate things properly to you so you should talk to him/her and solve any doubt or provide an alternative name.

  Pending actions (please deal with them ASAP, FIWARE Accelerator projects are demanding response):

  *   Orange (Thierry) to provide name and email address of coach.   It cannot be you for obvious reasons.
  *   Consoft (Christian Salerno) to confirm that Sara Pettarini will act as coach and provide email address.
  *   AtoS (Nuria) to provide info that is missing regarding coaches provided by AtoS

  One final point.   FIWARE Accelerator projects are eager to work with you.   They desperately need the help of FIWARE coaches who can work as evangelists in their events, provide assistance during evaluation of proposals, coaching to selected SMEs and provide a first-level help.   Please respond in a positive mood when they first approach you.   Some notes:

  *   You should have already some funding allocated for travel expenses in FI-Core (or in the FIWARE Accelerator project where you are involved in the case of AtoS, Engineering or CREATE-NET).   Don't let it fly the first months.   If FIWARE Accelerator projects demand the need to travel more than it was expected, ask them to cover your travel costs.
  *   Let's share feedback and demands from FIWARE Accelerator projects, ideas, best practices, issues, materials, concerted plans to cover FIWARE Accelerator project needs, etc within this mailing list.
  *   Nuria, Stefano and myself are there to help you if you have any doubt, find any problem, whatever.   Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any issue.
  *   Don't forget: the whole FIWARE is there to provide support.
