[Fiware-coaches] VERY IMPORTANT: Dedicated mailing lists for exchanges on coaching activities with FIWARE accelerator projects

dear franck and coaches all,

after, requests from some of you and some thougths with juanjo, my proposal
is as follows:

0. all the requests from the accelerators must come at our attention
through the accelerator dedicated mail lists.

1. each coach shall answer the more he/she can on issues about using and
adopting fiware geris (indeed we appointed about 50% of his/her time to
this activity). this point covers also the support to be given to the
accelerators in all the phases in submitting and evaluating proposals. this
case the coach closes the jira ticket which is opened through a request
from the specific accelerator mail list, directly after the issue requested
by the sme/accelerator is clarified and cleared.

2. if the issue is very deep or migth hide a bug or malfunction with
respect to a geri it should be transmitted to the corresponding ge owner.
the jira ticket created by the requests still holds till the issue is
clarified and cleared by the geri owners. at this point the jira ticket can
be closed by the coach. Honestly i'd avoid to open a ticket to geri owners,
but this is still a possibility. what i mean is that anyway the coach shall
follow the issue till it is closed with the sme/accelarator satisfaction.

3. 1 and 2 above apply also if the issue is about the usage of the fiware
lab. indeed, at this moment we do expect also requests and isseus also
about fiware lab although colleagues are working hard to clear all of them
before an extensive usage fo the fiware lab by the smes. please remember
that coaches should support their accelerator(s) and smes on all fiware
aspects.

4. i'm creating a spreadsheet shared through googledocs where to collect
for each accelerator the requests received and the answers provided. there
will be a dedicated page for each accelerator. this way not only the coach
can take benefit from pevious requests in giving answers (we do expect most
of the cases they will be very much the same), but also requests and
answers can be shared between all the coaches.
stay tuned as in the next minutes you'll receive a dedicate invitation for
editing such a file.
i'll send the invitation to your email, but of course to guarantee privacy
it would be great if you'll send me your gmail address (if any).

5. i knew from finodex that the ec assigned, unilateraly and without making
us aware before (not even juanjo was made aware), an additional coach payed
by them. this coach should mostly concerned about the business impact the
smes applications are supposed to achieve. however, in the case of finodex,
the coach proposed himself also to support about the choice the smes will
do with respect to geris. i'm here requesting that each of you will asap
get in contact with his/her relevant accelerator coordinator to create a
well defined synergy with such additional coach.
please notify me, through this mail list, when this synch link is
established.

ciao,
stefano
