Thank you for notifying this.
I already received some spam emails in fiware-ceedtech-coaching mailing list but since the sender is not in the subscribers list, I'm able to intercept them directly in the administrative interface and discard them; this way no additional traffic is produced.

Should I allow the propagation of these emails and then mark the related JIRA ticket as spam or can I continue to block them through the coaching administrative interface?

In my opinion, we should not allow the propagation of such emails in the coaching mailing list.

Let me inform you there's available a JIRA component named SPAM where you can place received SPAM.
Additionally the script caring of the assignment also cleans issues with [SPAM] in the summary.
This component will be cleaned once a week.
