Hello Ilknur, I remember there were some rumors about a commercial instance of FIWARE Lab powered by Engineering, but honestly I don’t know if this is true or not; maybe Stefano could give us some additional information… In CEED Tech I see that a certain number of new teams (2nd Open Call) are planning to move towards (or already using) cloud providers like Amazon or Azure, using FIWARE Lab just for experimentation. Dear fellow coaches, How should we direct the SMEs that would like to go commercial with FI-WARE? In particular, A- Do we already have commercial FIWARE nodes that are up and running, and ready to accept SME applications? B- What do your SMEs do at the moment? Do they go on other cloud providers such as Amazon, or do they install GEs on their own infrastructure? I have seen some SMEs do as in option B, but do any of the Engineering or TID infrastructures, etc. accept SMEs already on a commercial basis? Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge/experiences on this matter.. We are using the Fi-Ware labs node from inception and on through our pilot which is occuring now, but at the same time, we are ready to make the move to a more commercial enviroment ahead of our expansions planned for later this year. I reviewed all previous emails we have on the subject, as well as all the information I could find online. From what I understand, regarding our choices for other enviroments besides Fi-Ware Labs, commercial nodes are being set up by different companies and there are some available in very specific locations, and we are trying to understand how this works and which one can work for us, hosting our platform. My main question is what is done by other apps/teams going commercial with Fi-Ware? Do they opt to host on one of these commercial nodes, host on Amazon with FiWare VMs or create their own infrastructure? So far, we did not get any good support in answering this questions. Could you please direct me to where or from whom I can find the relevant information so that we can initiate this process ASAP? Thanks for all your help! Chaim.
