[office-xifi] [Fiware-mundus-req] Uraia: contribute to the Inspiring practices catalogue

Uraía SMART Technologies info at uraia.org
Mon Sep 14 16:33:48 CEST 2015

Dear Ms. Donato,

Thank you for you kind message and the information provided.

Please let me explain our Platform and the aim of this case study: Uraia is
a Platform that brings together local governments and their associations on
the one hand, and service and technology providers on the other hand with
the aim to support *innovation in local public management* by introducing
the use of SMART technologies in three main areas:* (i) Municipal finance**
(ii) Management of public services and infrastructure (iii) Transparency*

* and accountability.*
One of our main goals is to enhance knowledge exchange between cities and
to disseminate successful practices. Our case studies serve this purpose,
and will be published on our website. We would like to include both
concrete experiences, as well as mechanisms. The Fi-Ware initiative would
best fit into the 'mechanisms' section.

Please find attached a form including a couple of questions on the Fi-Ware
initiative. We would like to ask you to fill in this form. Since we know
that this is a time-consuming process, we are happy to conduct a Skype or
Telephone interview with someone who is knowledgeable on the topic.
As you will see, we included a 'case study' section in the document, where
we would like you to briefly present a concrete application of the FI-Ware
mechanism to a City. Please note that since we are establishing a case
study ('concrete experiences' section) on Valencia -in which Fi-Ware is
being mentioned-, we would like you to focus on a different example.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards,

*Bea Varnai*
