[Fiware-collaboration-req] Just me, saying happy new year to you

Hi ,

I would like to start this email with a quote from a man that made a
really big impact on my life and work. It goes like this: 

"When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are
not in your favor."

Did you recognize the author? These are Elon Musk's words and I think
they describe perfectly this year's circumstances. If entrepreneurs
had at any time in the last 10, 20 years especially challenging
conditions to stay alive or grow, 2020 was definitely the year of
this.  

But we are here. Maybe a bit bruised, but definitely wiser. 

I can't believe we are only a few days away from 2021. Time really
does fly. Especially when you're deep into your goals and focused on
each step that can bring you closer to them.

I'm not sure how it is with you (no matter how typical this might
sound) but in the last few days before the new year, I like to put light
onto each of the last 12 months and see my progress (and steps back
too). It gives me the feeling that my actions did matter. That I made a
contribution to the world. That I made a difference in someone's life
or business. 

I believe you have lots of good things to remember from this year and
even more strongly believe you have made someone's life better. 

Now it's time to slow down a little bit. To spend some quality time
with our families. To make a space for new ideas and refill our energy
supplies. 

So, my team and I are saying goodbye for this year and hoping you'll
take the time for yourself as well. 

I wish you all the best in 2021. Really. Who knows what it will bring
for us but I'm an incurable optimist believing everything will be ok.
Even though 2020 is the year I'll definitely remember, I think it made
us stronger. Sometimes I still can't believe that we managed to change
this year's conference to an online version in two months... And it
was a total success!

Am I keeping you too long? :) That's totally like me. 

So, have a nice jump into 2021.
