[Fiware-collaboration-req] Sensor data

Hello,

my name is Torsten Born and I am heading the R&D department of sensor 
manufacturer STEINEL (www.steinel.de/en)!
I stumbled upon the Fiware intiative and was wondering if it might make 
sense to exchange views and ideas.

We are currently starting to roll out our first PoE-enabled sensor 
platform and this should be quite an asset for smart cities.
Currently we only deal with generic protocols such as MQTT, REST or 
BACnet. However, it would be no problem to also include some native Fiware 
protocol, if that makes any sense. So far I only had a cursory glance at 
your ideas and mission, but I strongly believe that excellent sensors are 
the fundament of any smart building or city and could imagine a closer 
cooperation.
