A ver si podéis echarnos una mano a difundir este post que ha publicado Telefónica para contrarrestar el de TechCrunch.

Saludos,

Asunto: RE: Fi-ware/Future Internet blog post

Hi Juanjo,

The FI-WARE blog post is now live here: http://blog.digital.telefonica.com/2014/03/21/fi-ware-power-future-internet/

We’ve tweeted from our account, so please feel free to spread the post around.

Also, we wondered if there’s anybody in your team who may want to translate the post into Spanish so it can also go up on the Spanish hub?

Do get in touch with any questions and thanks again for your help with this.

Best,

James

Subject: Re: Fi-ware/Future Internet blog post

Hi all,

I have take a look at it and looks nice.

A minor correction regarding how to refer to FI-WARE and FI-Lab:

  * 'FI' in "FI-WARE" and "FI-Lab" should always go in capital letters because it is the acronym of "Future Internet"
  * "WARE" in "FI-WARE" always go all in capital letters
  * "Lab" in "FI-Lab" should be as written here

There are two points I wanted to bring to your consideration, in case you believe it would be worth adding them to the post:

  * There are several cities already on the go (i.e., working) to deliver their open data (not only historic but also real-time) on FI-Lab. Maybe you wish to make a reference to them in the post:

     * The name of the cities that have indeed signed a official letter of support (others are under negotiation): Lisbon (Portugal), Trento and Torino (Italy), Espoo (Findland), Santander, Sevilla, Malaga, Valencia, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Sabadell (Spain)
     * Copy of the letters accessible at: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwKkYKvfz1EsNlRYeXA1ZHVvV00&usp=sharing

  * There were two speeches that Neelie Kroes gave when FI-Lab was launched which you may wish to add some excerpts from:

     * Neelie Kroes launched FI-Lab at Campus Party Europe in London: http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_SPEECH-13-671_en.htm

        * “FI-WARE is one way we are levelling a playing field: a project to make innovative technologies available for all.”
        * “Smart cities are a great example … They create platforms, and use them, making open data and applications available – to citizens, to developers, to innovators, to come up with yet more ideas … and this is where initiatives like the FI-LAB come in. Led by industry, this is a major investment in generic technology.”

     * She also made a reference to FI-Lab at the launch of the EIP on Smart Cities and Communities: http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_SPEECH-13-680_en.htm

        * “Just earlier this week I launched the Future Internet lab … That's something that you can turn into real results, real jobs, and real innovation. European platforms helping European innovation in European cities.”

I pass you the logos of FI-WARE and FI-Lab, with and without claim.

  Best regards,

-- Juanjo

Hi Juanjo and Francisco,

Please find attached a draft of the blog post we would like to publish either today or tomorrow. The blog post looks to highlight our work and expertise with regards to the “future Internet” subtly addressing the arguments made by Mike Butcher (without referencing him of course). The post pulls together three strands – Fi-Ware, SmartSantander and a speech by Neelie Kroes at the Future Internet Assembly.

Please let me know if you’re happy with this – we would see it being published in Juanjo’s name.

All the best,

James
