[Fiware-demo] Important milestone: Live Demo execution on FI-WARE review next week

Hi Firmin,

Some sentence proposal for Location GE :

"The Location GE provides location-based services that aims to retrieve mobile device positions and area events, using various positioning techniques such as A-GPS, Wi-Fi, etc... In the scope of the live demo, the Fleet Simulation Tool is also used to demonstrate the Location GE features by providing updated positions of the simulated mobile handsets."

I actually don't know the real  usage of Location GE in the  live demo. Please complete as necessary.

Dear Thierry,

I think is a good idea. I don't know how this material will be used during the review (I mean, if a .ppt using it will be created at the end, maybe Juanjo or others involved in the review preparation could clarify this) but I think is useful in any case.

In this sense, I would suggest that each GEi owner involved provide such a sentence:

 *   Application Mashup, Store: Javier Soriano
 *   Revenue Sharing: Pablo Arozarena
 *   Access Control: Cyril
 *   IDM: Antionio/Javier Cerviño
 *   CEP: Tali/Guy
 *   ContextBroker: Fermín
 *   Location: Alain/Tanguy
 *   Backend Device Management: Carlos Ralli
 *   Protocol Adapter: Sabrina, Gian Piero
 *   Object Storage: John
 *   GEis in the cloud chapter: Fernando/Henar (delegating in the actual GEi owners, if needed).
Regarding Marketplace, Registry and Mediator I'm not sure who is the right one to provide the input... Javier Soriano: could you move this within the WP3 chapter, please? Thanks!

As example, this would be the sentence for the ContextBroker:

 *   ContextBroker is the backbone of the data used in the application, mediating between consumers and producers of information. In receives the context information produced by the Backend Device Management and offer that information to components that consume it, such as CEP, application backend or the application mashup server. Backend Device Management is not the only source of information, as ContextBroker is also used to store information dynamically created by the application (Issues entities) and other elements it uses (information about Vans or Technitians).

This is a very nice picture. Maybe from a marketing point of view, we should be able to add one sentence (a motto) per GE to explain what they provide in the live demo. This could be an introduction so reviewers could better understand why the GEs are relevant in this specific use case.

Hi,

As you know, we have an important project milestone next week at FI-WARE review on June 12-13. A very important part of that review is the Live Demo in which the different teams involved have been working hard to have everything integrated and ready. Comparing with November 2012 execution, there is a *huge* advance in the number of GEs involved and the functionality used from the FI-WARE platform.

(GEs in purple are the ones used in November 2012 execution, GEs in blue are the ones added for next week)

Live Demo is scheduled for June12th from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. Previously, there was a rehearsal the day before (June 11st). So, although I know that same of you are doing right now last-minute changes, please ensure that all the pieces under your responsibility are stable and ready before that time. In addition, please pay attention during that period to attend any request or problem coming from me or any other people in the live team team as your topmost FI-WARE priority.
