Dear Community,

Many thanks to those we joined us in Málaga last month for the FIWARE
Global Summit
<https://www.fiware.org/2018/12/04/thank-you-for-joining-us-at-the-fiware-global-summit-18-in-malaga/>
.

We welcomed 473 attendees to our 5th Summit, where, over the course of two
action-packed days, 97 speakers took the stage to present their findings,
experiences, and views within the domains of Smart Cities, Smart Energy,
Smart Industry, Smart Agrifood, and Tech.

They say “a picture is worth a thousand words”, which is why we made an
effort to take as many photographs as possible. Be sure to check out the Global
Summit Photo Gallery

Interested in revisiting the great content that was presented during the
event? Keep an eye on the FIWARE Slideshare
<https://www.slideshare.net/FI-WARE>, where we are uploading as many of the
presentations as possible.

The next FIWARE Global Summit <https://www.fiware.org/summit/> is set to
take place in the city of Genoa, Italy, on May 21st and 22nd, 2019. Have
you got an interesting idea, workshop, talk or session you would like to
pitch? We invite the FIWARE Community to actively take part in designing
the next Summit. Apply for our Call for Contributions
<https://goo.gl/DSYmrD> and submit your proposal by January 25th, 2019.

Best,
Charlotte
