NGSIv2 RC-2018.07 has been published today, available at:

http://telefonicaid.github.io/fiware-orion/api/v2/stable/

This RC concludes the NGSI v2.0 specification work (which has taken around 3 years ;) so is intended to be the last RC version, prior to the definitive final version of the specification. We could start a final review period long enough (e.g. 2 months) in order to proof-read, typo fixing, etc. (in the form of pull request on the fiware-ngsiv2-reference.apib file, please). Changes in content and structure are not expected. Final NGSIv2 version will be released on September 15th and at the same time NGSIv1 will be declared deprecated.

NGSIv2 related issues has been re-ordered as follows:

  *   No pending issue on "APIv2" label, all them are closed. Details: https://github.com/telefonicaid/fiware-orion/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3AAPIv2 (336 closed issues)
  *   A new label "APIv2-debt" has been created, to include aspects of NGSIv2 specification not covered yet in Orion reference implementation, i.e. gap between the implementation and the spec.   *   A new label "APIv2.1" has been created, to include functionality that could expand the current functionality without breaking backward compatibility, in order to be included in a future version of the API (prospective name: NGSIv v2.1). A new version of Orion (1.15.0) has been released today, aligned with NGSIv2 RC-2018.07.
