[Mailing list allowing to send news to entrepreneurs engaged in the FIWARE community]

Dear all,

 In order to speed up the communication to members of our growing community
of FIWARE entrepreneurs, we have setup this mailing list through which you
will get notified about fresh and important news related to FIWARE.
Messages announcing plans for the FIWARE open source community, the FIWARE
Lab, opportunities for FIWARE entrepreneurs to get engaged in different
projects/initiatives and business opportunities, info about developers
weeks, events, new contents on the FIWARE website, the FIWARE catalogue or
the FIWARE Academy, etc..., are the kind of messages we will disseminate
from FIWARE through this mailing list.

 You may also use this mailing list to share information, thoughts,
initiatives with other members of the FIWARE entrepreneurs community.  Also
with the FIWARE platform team. Please note that the mailing list will be
initially moderated by Press Office as to avoid spam and ensure that the
basics of the FIWARE community code of conduct (see post data) are
respected.  However, we welcome volunteers who wish to join us in this
task.  If you want to volunteer, please send an email to
fiware-press-office at lists.fi-ware.org

 Please don’t use this mailing list to replace other channels that are at
your service to provide help and communicate with the FIWARE platform team.

 If for some reason you believe that we have wrongly registered you in this

 You can pass the link to this page to other users within your organization
who may be interested to receive direct communications from FIWARE and
other FIWARE entrepreneurs so that they can complete the form for
registration at the top of the same page (section " Subscribing to
Fiware-entrepreneurs").  Note that a given user has to specify her/his
name, the name of the organization (startup, SME) she/he works for, and the
name of the "mentor organization" that is endorsing the user request
separated by commas. Organizations supported by a given FIWARE Accelerator
Project should provide the name of the FIWARE Accelerator project as
"mentor organization".  As an example:

John Smith, AcmeCompany, FITMAN


 Please note that this mailing list is not limited to startups/SMEs funded
through the FIWARE Accelerator programme.  It includes any startup/SME that
is willing to materialize their dreams using FIWARE!   Therefore, we have
added some of the startups/SMEs we have already met in our journey and
wanted to keep engaged in the community.   It will also include
startups/SMEs beyond Europe, since our community is global!

FIWARE community members commit to advancing FIWARE in a constructive way,
staying active in the community, and performing their duties with
integrity, always knowing when to wear the FIWARE hat.  This means being
considerate, collaborative and respectful, so when you disagree, you
consult others and when you are unsure, you ask for help using the defined
channels.
