[Fiware-entrepreneurs] IMPORTANT: FIWARE Foundation Announcement at MWC16

FIWARE Press Office would like to share with everybody documents and publications in relation with FIWARE Foundation and the participation of FIWARE during the Mobile World Congress.


The FIWARE Foundation announcement will be done in a Public Ceremony at the Stand of EU Pavilion (CS74) on the 23rd of February:



15:35 - 15:40 h. Public ceremony with the Commissioner Oettinger and the executives of the Core Industry Group. Hand-over of the FIWARE foundation bylaws, hands shaken and photos taken.



15:40 - 15:4 h. Commissioner addresses industry and the audience.



15:45 - 15:50 h. Hubert Tardieu thanks the Commissioner on behalf of the industry.

On Wednesday, 24th FIWARE press office will send a Press Release welcoming the setup of the FIWARE Foundation by the European Commission. On the other hand, during the Congress we will participate on a Showcase: Connected Living on the Innovation City in the Agriculture Scenario and in the Transport Scenario.

Cities from Spain (Santander and Sevilla), Portugal (Porto) and also Amberes (Belgium). These cities are part of the Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative and data are exposed through FIWARE NGSI API.
