*The FIWARE Community Takes the Stage in Málaga at the 5th FIWARE Summit*

   - FIWARE expands its scope towards supporting the development of smart
   solutions by introducing a reference model for Smart Energy.
   - Smart Cities, Smart Industry, Smart Energy and Smart Agrifood are the
   key topics for the Summit.
   - Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Economy, Big Data
   and Edge Computing will also be addressed at the 2-day event.
   - The Summit will hold an Investor Forum in which startups will pitch
   their business models to experienced investors.


On November 27 and 28, Málaga (Spain) will host FIWARE’s second Global
Summit <https://www.fiware.org/summit/>. For two days, over 700 cities
representatives, developers, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, SMEs, large
enterprises and investors will gather at Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de
Málaga for the release of new software, to discuss new business models and
disruptive technologies for the future: all that with innovation,
efficiency, growth and open source standards in mind. Organised by the
FIWARE Foundation with direct participation and support from its Platinum
members – including tech giants ATOS, Engineering, NEC, Orange and
Telefónica -, Gold members, FIWARE Accelerators, and the FIWARE iHub
network, the Summit will be supported by the City of Málaga (...)
