[FIWARE-Evangelist] Sharing is Caring - Open Calls of Interest

Dear all,

I hope you and your loved ones are all doing well.

As we continue to work remotely during the current COVID-19 crisis, I
wanted to take this opportunity to once again share with you some of the
opportunities and open calls that have arisen in the past couple of weeks.
I would hereby kindly like to ask you to please share them within your
extensive networks and of course, if relevant to you, to take part in them
yourself. Sharing is caring! Through these open calls we are able to
highlight and promote the fantastic things that the FIWARE Community is
doing in various different sectors.

*COVID-19 and FIWARE4Health Open Call*

   - *Information: *FIWARE is renowned for its ability and speed to address
   urgent challenges and the needs of society, companies and public
   administrations. The need for ready-to-use solutions, based on Open Source
   and open standards principles – to help automate data sharing – has grown
   rapidly. Share your ‘off the shelf’ Open Source, FIWARE-based solutions
   that are contributing to robust healthcare. Shared solutions will initially
   be featured on our website and in the long-run, potentially compiled into a
   booklet.

*Version 4.0 of the "Fighting Climate Change with FIWARE" Booklet*

   - *Information: *The FIWARE Community recognizes that climate change is
   impacting societies, economies, and especially humans' daily lives. Today,
   we can already proudly present a wide portfolio of very concrete
   applications and solutions with a direct positive impact on climate change.
   How are you tackling or minimizing the effects of climate change using
   FIWARE technologies? This is the last opportunity to be included in the
   updated summer edition of the "Fighting Climate Change with FIWARE"

*FIWARE Smart Energy Open Call*

   - *Information: *We are looking for FIWARE-powered solutions and
   projects for Smart Energy at various levels. Your inputs will be used to
   create a collection of case studies, extracting from them support material
   to present FIWARE’s Generic Enablers and software components to help
   develop Smart Energy solutions. Particular focus will also be put on
   highlighting open data models that could facilitate the first steps in the
   development of such solutions.
