Dear Javier,

FIWARE is evolving towards a fully open approach and we are cleaning up the catalogue to ensure that we retain only those GEis that we will maintain in future versions of FIWARE. The ones we keep must be fully open (that was not the case with all in the past).  The first wave of developments contained a number of implementations that will no longer be on the catalogue (at least, not in the context of FIWARE). This is the case of Ovaldroid, that was not open source or free to use,  if I am right.

The way to handle this situation is ultimately up to the owner of the GE who is the one that retains the rights and the ones who will decide on future maintenance of the GE. I guess that this would happen outside FIWARE. Anyway, I resend your query to Guillaume and Fabrice (now on the recipients lists) and they should be able to provide you with more accurate details and what you can expect from them. As far as I can recall, the license was FRAND<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FRAND>.

Taking into account that Ovaldroid was developed by INRIA, the spirit of the institution(http://www.inria.fr/en/)  and that this is for educational purposes, it would be good if they could find a way to flexibly accommodate this request.
