it shows the future evolution of our components, at least in R4, R5 is too far in time and following an agile approach as we do, it does not make sense to go that far

We needed to hide some components because they were not going to evolve in the future (and some others who were not open, against the spirit of the project). Now all the components are open and also they will be supported (at least) until sometime in 2017

We have not normally sent emails on this sort of things. The only channels with external subscribers that we have now are:

  *   the one for the newsletter (go to the bottom of http://www.fiware.org/)
  *   the one for FIWARE Lab users (it's not strictly a list with subscribers but we have a functionality on the admin pages to send a massive notification to all FIWARE Lab users)

I am technical manager of the FI-PPP Phase 2 project FINESCE. We have been working with GEs since 2013 and are still integrating them into our systems, which form the basis for offerings to FI-PPP Phase 3 accelerators.

I am interested in how to get information about updates that will be made to the FIWARE Catalogue.

For example, some GE will be added or removed: how do you inform users? Is there a mailing list or what information channel do you use?

I am interested to know in advance what FIWARE plans. We have experienced problems with GEs being removed from the Catalogue without any information being sent to us.
