Apologies for the late reply, as we were on bank holidays last week in Turkey.

The Object Storage GE is actually based on OpenStack Swift. The GE provides some extensions to OpenStack Swift called 'storlets'. See https://github.com/openstack/storlets for more information on storlets.

I see in our ticketing system  (https://jira.fiware.org/browse/HELP-4381) that in the meanwhile Kalman has answered your other questions to the Fiware-tech-help. As the node team indicated in that ticket, there are no nodes yet on Kilo version of Openstack, but new nodes will be added in this fall, and they may have this version.

We are now implementing object storage GE. We have got a question about the extent to which this implementation complies with OpenStack. Do you know who is still actively supporting this project (the lead person on fiware catalog -kalman meth- does not seem to be active anymore)?
