Attending 2x FIWARE Award event For you to get a feeling what we are doing and to prepare your texts accordingly, see the project overview: Within the 30 months of the project lifetime, the consortium consisting of iHub.eu, XLAB, F6S, Fongit and FIWARE Foundation will focus the project activities on achieving the ultimate goal of having entrepreneurs and established businesses that want to and are able to use FIWARE for their innovation needs. Such a FIWARE business uptake will be enabled by an environment that facilitates FIWARE community building and interaction as well as development of FIWARE-based Future Internet Technology Applications (FITA) among entrepreneurs and established businesses.  The consortium intends to create a digital Innovation platform referencing and matchmaking FIWARE savvy developers with entrepreneurs and businesses seeking innovative solutions. In order to convince the industry to use FIWARE as a technology of choice, FIWARE and thus its innovation environment needs to provide benefits in a form of foreseeable ROI for their business. Thus, the Innovation platform will be launched with a business model that attracts solution seekers, solvers and makes itself self-sustained beyond the project. In general, innovation challenges will be announced by solution seekers and solvers will be rewarded for creating solutions. In order to facilitate developer work, dedicated tools will be implemented into the platform that enables them to efficiently work with FIWARE and help each other. In addition to enabling FIWARE-based product and feature creation, the platform will also result in a valuable database of FIWARE developers, products and companies that will help to analyse and track FIWARE strengths and uptake in a long term. 
The digital ecosystem is enhanced with physical events across Europe that will train and engage developers at a university level, meetups and among OpenStack community. With annual Best of FIWARE events, FIWARE ecosystem achievements will be showcased to the ecosystem, especially businesses, in order to further promote FIWARE value proposition.
