There is one general challenge with the translation of Board of Directors (Vorstand) and Board of Offices (Geschäftsführung). Normally in German non-profit asssiation the board that is responsible fort he day-to-day business is the Vorstand. In our case this is the Board of Officers headed by the CEO. The Board of Directos ist giving the strategic guidance and direction to the Board of Officers and is controlling their work. In German this is called Aufsichtsrat (or Beirat). The CEO is heading the assosiation and will be registered at the court. I would like to discuss this directly with the German lawyer. Could you bring me in contact with him?
