Dear all,
we are integrating the FIWARE Catalogue <http://catalogue.fiware.org/> user
database with the one used by the FIWARE Forge <https://forge.fiware.org/> the
25th November.

Please read carefully and follow the instructions below.

Once the update is live, you will be able to access the Catalogue using
your Forge credentials and, as long as you used the same username to
register in both Catalogue and Forge, the two accounts will be linked
together in the Catalogue.

All the possible cases are listed in the following table:

*Current status*
*Current credentials*
*Action*
New user
x
Register in the FIWARE Forge <https://forge.fiware.org/account/register.php>
. You would still need a manual activation by the Catalogue admin to be
able to create content (send request to fiware-catalogue at lists.fi-ware.org).
Forge user
Forge credentials
(the user does not have a Catalogue account)
A new user is automatically created in the Catalogue. You would still a
manual activation by the Catalogue admin to be able to create content (send
request to fiware-catalogue at lists.fi-ware.org).
Catalogue user
Catalogue credentials
(the user does not have a Forge account)
Register in the FIWARE Forge <https://forge.fiware.org/account/register.php>
using the same user name that you have in the FIWARE Catalogue.
Forge & Catalogue user

Same username
The Catalogue account syncs with the Forge credentials (the e-mail address
on the Catalogue will be overwritten with the one on the Forge if different)

Different username
A new user with the Forge credentials will be created in the Catalogue.
This new user will need manual activation by the Catalogue admin. The old
user on the catalogue will no longer be usable

To avoid the last case, please update your username in the FIWARE
Catalogue *before
25th November* so both accounts are properly linked and your role and
contents in the FIWARE Catalogue are properly bound to your forge
credentials. Keep in mind the Forge user name is not modifiable.

Please note that if your username in the Catalogue does not have a
counterpart in the Forge by 25th November you won’t be able to manage your
contents. If you have any problems please email us at
fiware-catalogue at lists.fi-ware.org.

Best Regards,
  FIWARE Catalogue Team
