My name is Philipp Slusallek and I am the Chapter lead on the WebUI
chapter on advanced Web-based UI technology, including interactive 2D
and particularly 3D visualization an any device.

Your scenario is extremely interesting in the context of FIWARE. In
particular the WebUI chapter is currently developing special support for
the visualization of city (and other) data, which might be interesting
to you. First demos are already available and will be refined in the
coming months. there are links to other GEs (e.g. the Context broker for
providing the raw data in the first place).
