[Fiware-general-help] Quesitons about FIWARE

Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m Xiuyan Li from Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd..  I browsed info about FIWARE recently and I have some questions about FIWARE as below:


1.       Where is the FIWARE headquarter?

2.       How is a new GE adopted and the corresponding API  published in the specifications in FIWARE? Is there any certification?

3.       Is authorization and/or fees required to develop apps using FIWARE platform for commercial purposes?

4.       Why FIWARE uses NGSI data model/API instead of oneM2M? It seems that one oneM2M is more popular nowadays.

5.       Is there any successful commercial use case in OASC except the showcases? How is the OASC going?

6.       Is a list of the companies who are active in FIWARE/OASC available?

7.       What’s the promotion plan for FIWARE except the accelerate program? Is there any other organizations that FIWARE going to establish collaborations with besides TMF/NIST/EDP ?

I would be very grateful if you could reply in detail.
